Filling in the blanks

So I was reading this new book I just picked up the other day .... bah, no I wasn't, I can't read.

Holy shit balls batman, I just remembered that Ryan's birthday is coming up soon. Maybe this year I'll make it to your party. Who knows, I won't be on call so I'll probably saddle up the horse and head down there to show you southerners how to drink.

Hopefully it doesn't snow by then cause I'm bringing the fishing gear!

Well, with another fishing season almost at an end, I was thinking about going out for one last trip before the ice hits. This time maybe I'll head eastward and go fishing with Ryan and his gang. Seems to me that they tend to have a bit of fun. That is if you fellas are up for it?

I don't know of any good fishing areas around there but I'm sure there's plenty. Wish I had a boat though, oh well.

Might be a little cold for camping but who knows, I'll do almost anything with the help of a little beer and rum. Well almost anything....

We'll see I guess. It'll be some good times I bet.

Holy shit, where have I been?

Well I think I'm getting a little lazy on my blogging lately. Perhaps that hibernation period might have something to do with it.

Last weekend me and the fam went to Stettler for a my cousin's wedding. It was pretty boring. I'm not much for weddings, in fact I don't even know why I even went. I just drank too much alcohol but what do you do when it's a freakin' toonie bar?

I think I'm gonna elope if I ever get married. That way I can make as ass out of myself in front of strangers instead of my whole family.

Side note: It's getting awfully close to winter, disturbingly close. I get cold just thinking about it. I hope it's a short one this year.

Best Fucking Vacation EVER!

I said Fuck it! I'm outta here. So I hopped on a plane and headed north. It was time for a little vacation.

I've now just returned from my trip in the Territories. I was visiting Ryan, since it's been like 2 years or some shit since I've seen the little bugger! I had a good time. Me and Krause caught up on some old times, drank a little and I kicked his ass in chess. Hell, I even did the dishes.

I shot a nice video when I was there, which I can't get to work or you'd probably be watching it right now. I even shot a bit from inside the plane on take off and flying through the clouds and shit. It's my finest camera work ever.

Now I wanna go back, I'm sick of this town. It's so peaceful up there. Hire me so I can move there too. Or maybe I'll just build the first ever artic bowling alley.... we'll see.

I'm freakin' stoked now!

The other day I accidentally hit the FM button on my cd player and I heard an announcement for an Alexisonfire concert, in G.P. of all places. Nobody cool comes here to play, that's why I usually stay away from the G.P. concert scene. Somehow I think seeing too many shitty bands will make you tone deaf and stupid.

So right after I heard the announcement I went and picked myself up a ticket. $36 bucks, but there are also 3 other bands opening for them, Cancer Bats, Every Time I die and Attack in Black. I've never heard of them before but I'm sure they'll pass the test.

And to top it all off, they just released a new cd on Tuesday called Crisis. It's awesome, I nearly shat!

Yeah it'll be some good stuff.

You crazy high school kids and your books

I recently rented and watched the movie Brick. It's definitely a gooder in my books.

It's about a high school chick who gets into trouble, dies and then her ex-boyfriend tries to track down what happened. It's not at all a comedy but there are a few funny parts. As for the plot and the character development... they're very well done. It's worth renting first, but for me I think I'll buy it.

It has that weird kid from 3rd Rock From the Sun in it, but he did alright. I still loath that show though.

Driving on 2 wheels and sleeping

Yesterday as I was routinely working, I happened to be parked at a set of traffic lights waiting for them to change. On the side of the street, a young lady pushing a babystroller had began to walk across in hopes to get to the other side. When out of no where some old bastard, who by the way couldn't even see over the wheel, comes cruising around the corner and nearly plows into this chick. He managed to come to a loud screeching hault but barely. I mean he was inches away from her and her kid.

And to top it all off, he opened up his door and proceeded to yell profanities and old man ramblings at her. What the Hell! I nearly got out and busted his freakin hip.

But after that my day was fine.

I seriously think that old people shouldn't drive. ESPECIALLY those who are hooked up to a fucking oxygen tank while driving. What the hell is up with that?!?!?!
